Bowland Festival Arts is a new initiative aimed at drawing together the wealth of creative talent existing in Bowland. Through a range of programmed arts activities - Creative workshops, Exhibitions and Open Studio events - we hope visitors and residents alike will be able to enjoy the interesting role the arts can play in developing our understanding of this very special environment. This is a new arts based element of The Bowland Festival which celebrates the birds, wildlife, landscape and culture of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through a series of events during 1 – 8 June 2008.
